Day 11: Senga Bay
Today the team was treated to a rest day. Everybody tried to sleep in, but the habit of waking up at 4:30 am got the better of some of the team. After breakfast that was fit for a king, everyone went about busying themselves in some recreational activities. Rob’s chain had been wearing badly so he went off to go fathom that problem out. Mark, Les and Craig went off fishing in Lake Malawi; this was an experience all on its own as their fishing arsenal consisted of one bass rod and two bamboo sticks with fishing line tied to the end. Paul spent the day on the beach and fiddling with his bike and Grant busied himself most of the day, keeping you guys and girls up-to-date on the happenings of the Boyz on Bikes. After another large dinner, everyone retired fairly early, all a little eager to get back on the bikes.
